Ever wondered how an animated version of yourself could impact your brand’s presence online? Well, I tested it out! 🎭✨

Using ChatGPT and CapCut (shoutout to @stan_nwaeze on Instagram for the inspiration), I explored Pixar-style 3D animation—because why not push the boundaries of creativity🤷🏾♀️?
But let’s talk ethics. AI-generated animation has stirred up conversations, and last year, I had an insightful exchange with someone who pointed out that AI animating people could be art theft.
And honestly? I get it.
If I had asked AI to mimic a specific production house or style, that’d be problematic. But when I originally tested this, I just asked for a cartoon version of myself—no specific style requested.
To stay on the right side of creativity, I tweaked my prompts, refined my approach and made sure integrity stayed front and center. And I think turned out pretty darn cute.
So Who Could Benefit from Animated Avatars?
Animated avatars aren’t just a novelty; they’re engagement tools with real value! Here are a few industries that would CRUSH it with animated avatars🔥:
✔️ Kids’ Entertainment – Think magicians, clowns, or child educators! A fun animated version of you could make your brand more relatable and exciting.
✔️ Voice Coaches & Sopranos – A stylized persona could make vocal tips feel more engaging and accessible.
✔️ Online Educators & Course Creators – An avatar can make lessons more immersive, especially for younger audiences.
Where Should You Use Animated Avatars?
Not every platform is suited for AI animation, but some thrive on strong visuals:
🔹 Instagram Reels & TikTok – Perfect for showcasing animated experiments and catching audience attention.
🔹 YouTube Shorts – Great for tutorials and storytelling in a fun animated format.
🔹 LinkedIn – An unexpected but valuable platform if you want to spark discussions about branding and AI ethics.
